Senior Cost Manager - Dublin

Our client is a global Cost Management and Project Management consultancy operating across a wide range of market sectors but primarily within the pharmaceutical, data centre and semi-conductor processing facilities

Requirements : 

  • Create complete numbers, measurements, and estimates to give clients a detailed budget.
  • Participate actively in the tender/bid process, starting with the initial documentation and continuing through analysis and reporting.
  • Verify client value for money by evaluating tenders and proposals.
  • Costs should be discussed and agreed upon by trade contractors in accordance with budgets and precise designs.
  • aid in the creation and negotiation of final accounts, handling any claims, and ensuring that the client receives the best value from the services completed.
  • Control project spending by producing cost reports and valuations
  • Thoroughly explain any changes to the client.
  • Cost management documentation and timely communication, support clients' ability to make informed decisions.
  • Promote transparent resolution of construction disputes and loss and expense claims
  • Promote team members' top performance and development through exceptional mentoring and leadership

  • Have experience in pre-and post-contract cost management on a variety of projects with a minimum of 6 years' experience as a construction cost manager
  • With expertise in heavy industrial, oil and gas, or pharmaceutical projects
  • Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or have equivalent experience
  • You have outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
