A leading MEP contractor delivering mission-critical infrastructure across Europe is seeking a QA/QC Lead to join a major data centre project in London. Whether you’re mechanically or electrically biased, if you’ve led quality delivery on large-scale, fast-paced projects — this is a high-impact role with long-term career potential.
This is a key site-based role responsible for managing all aspects of QA/QC for MEP systems — from installation inspections through to test pack approval, handover documentation, and snag closure.

Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the QA/QC function on site, reporting to the Project Manager and QA Manager
Lead the preparation, review, and coordination of test packs, inspection checklists, and redline mark-ups
Coordinate with mechanical and electrical supervisors to ensure quality standards are met during install
Carry out regular inspections and audits of ongoing works — flag non-conformances and lead closures
Support commissioning teams with QA input and handover documentation
Manage and track quality KPIs, punch list completion, and document control processes
Chair quality meetings with subcontractors and internal teams
Drive continuous improvement in workmanship, documentation standards, and compliance
Interface with client QA/QC representatives and support third-party inspections
Candidate Requirements:
Mechanical or Electrical background (trade, HNC/D, or degree)
Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in a QA/QC or Quality Lead role in MEP or mission-critical environments
Strong knowledge of installation standards, inspection protocols, and handover requirements
Experience using QA systems and digital test pack platforms (e.g. BIM 360, Zutec, Field View)
Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working on fast-track delivery sites
Experience with ISO standards, commissioning interface, and quality assurance for Tier III/IV builds is a plus
