Due to continued growth across their European data centre portfolio, they are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee both CSA and MEP packages on a major data centre development in Finland.
The successful candidate will take full commercial responsibility for a portfolio of civil, structural, architectural, and building services works. You will play a key role in cost control, procurement strategy, subcontractor management, forecasting, and commercial reporting, ensuring all packages are delivered in line with contract requirements, programme targets, and project budget.
This is a senior-level role requiring strong technical understanding of both CSA and MEP disciplines, with the ability to manage complex interfaces across multiple high-value workstreams in a mission-critical environment.
• Oversee all commercial activities across CSA and MEP packages on a large-scale data centre project
• Manage cost planning, forecasting, and reporting across multiple disciplines
• Lead procurement strategy for CSA and MEP subcontractor packages
• Prepare, review, and negotiate interim valuations, payment applications, and final accounts
• Manage variations, change control, and compensation events in line with contract requirements
• Provide accurate monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and risk analysis
• Liaise closely with project management, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure alignment of commercial and site activities
• Oversee subcontractor performance, commercial compliance, and contractual obligations
• Support value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives across all packages
• Manage dispute resolution, claims, and contractual correspondence where required
• Ensure robust commercial governance, reporting standards, and project controls are maintained
• Support senior leadership with commercial strategy and project performance reporting
• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or QS Lead on major construction projects
• Strong background across both CSA and MEP packages is essential
• Data centre or mission-critical project experience is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of construction contracts (NEC, JCT, and/or FIDIC)
• Experience managing complex subcontractor packages and procurement strategies
• Excellent commercial awareness and cost control capability across multiple disciplines
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and programme information
• Strong reporting, forecasting, and project controls experience
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline
