Join one of the UK’s leading MEP and mission-critical project delivery specialists, delivering high-specification projects for blue-chip clients across pharmaceutical, industrial, and advanced manufacturing sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a lead role on a complex, high-value pharmaceutical facility build in Oxford, working on state-of-the-art electrical systems.

We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of electrical systems for a major pharmaceutical project. You’ll manage all aspects of project delivery from design coordination through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover — ensuring all works meet stringent GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee planning, coordination, and delivery of electrical systems including HV/LV distribution, lighting, small power, ELV, fire alarms, and security systems
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, client specifications, and project programme
  • Manage subcontractors and site teams, ensuring safe systems of work and high-quality installations
  • Liaise with client representatives, design teams, and internal departments to resolve issues quickly
  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and commercial performance
  • Lead inspection, testing, commissioning, and handover processes
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, QA/QC records, and as-builts

Candidate Profile:

  • Electrical engineering degree or recognised trade qualification
  • Proven experience managing electrical packages on pharmaceutical or other complex, regulated projects
  • Strong understanding of GMP, cleanroom electrical design, and validation requirements
  • Excellent leadership and coordination skills with experience managing large teams and multiple subcontractors
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong commercial awareness and client-facing skills
