Senior HSE Advisor – Data Centre – West Dublin

Our client is a €1.5bn turnover, multi-disciplined Tier 1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects

Due to continued growth in the region of their Data Centre division, our client is now seeking an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to join their team in West Dublin.

Responsibilities

•   Support Site-Wide HSE Strategy:
Work closely with the HSE Lead and project team to implement and maintain high HSE standards across the data centre project, in line with company policy and client expectations.
•   Monitor Compliance & Best Practice:
Carry out regular inspections, audits, and safety walks to ensure compliance with Irish legislation, PSCS requirements, and internal protocols — escalating issues and driving corrective actions.
•   Engage and Influence Site Teams:
Build strong relationships with site personnel, subcontractors, and client representatives to promote a positive safety culture and ensure best practices are followed at all times
•   Incident Management & Reporting:
Respond to and investigate near misses, accidents, and incidents, producing detailed reports and contributing to continuous improvement through root cause analysis and lessons learnt.
•   HSE Training & Awareness:
Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and targeted training sessions to ensure all personnel are equipped with the knowledge to work safely in a high-risk, mission-critical environment.

Requirements

Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects i.e. Data Centres
Must be based within a commutable distance of Dublin
Must have NEBOSH qualification or similar
Must have excellent communication skills (Written and Oral)
