Site Manager – Pharmaceutical – Athlone Our client is a €1.5bn turnover, multi-disciplined Tier 1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects Due to continued growth in the region of their Pharmaceutical division, our client is now seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team in Athlone. Responsibilities Manage Day-to-Day Site Operations: Requirements Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role in cleanroom environments i.e. Pharmaceutical, Data Centres, Laboratories etc. Benefits €70,000 - €90,000 + Benefits
Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring the pharmaceutical fit-out is delivered safely, on time, and in line with project specifications and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
Coordinate Subcontractors & Trades:
Schedule and supervise subcontractors, ensuring smooth sequencing of works and resolving any coordination issues that may impact progress or quality.
Ensure Compliance with Health & Safety:
Enforce high safety standards on-site, working closely with the HSE team to ensure all personnel adhere to safety protocols, RAMS, and site-specific requirements.
Monitor Quality & Programme:
Ensure all works are carried out to the highest quality standards, in line with project drawings and specifications, while tracking progress against the programme and taking action to avoid delays.
Liaise with Stakeholders & Project Team:
Act as the main point of contact on-site, maintaining strong communication with project managers, consultants, client reps, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Must be based within a commutable distance of Athlone
Must have excellent communication skills (Written and Oral)
