Electrical Commissioning Manager – Commercial – Central London Our client is a large and well-established MEP Sub-Contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major Mechanical & Electrical Packages on behalf of Tier:1 main contractors involved in ‘technology’ schemes including Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Semi-Conductor plants and heavy industrial projects. Due to continued growth, our client is now seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Manager to join their team based on a Commercial build in Central London. Develop and manage the electrical commissioning programme in line with project milestones, ensuring all systems — including LV distribution, life safety, lighting, and controls — are tested, energised, and handed over safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with Project and Specialist Teams
Liaise closely with project engineers, site managers, QA/QC teams, and specialist subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of commissioning into the construction schedule.
• Oversee Testing, Witnessing & Certification
Manage the execution and witnessing of all required tests, ensuring documentation is completed to meet client, consultant, and regulatory requirements for system sign-off and handover.
• Interface with Client and Stakeholders
Represent the commissioning function in client meetings, site walkdowns, and technical workshops, providing updates and ensuring alignment across all key stakeholders.
• Ensure Compliance and Quality Control
Guarantee all electrical commissioning works adhere to project specifications, British Standards, and health & safety regulations, delivering a snag-free, technically complete handover package.
Must have 10+ years’ experience in a similar role on Large-scale construction projects
Must have UK Passport or RTW in the UK
