Project Manager – Data Centre Development – Milan

€80,000 – €90,000 + Package | Permanent (Contract option available) | Client-Side Consultancy | 4–5 Year Project

We’re supporting a leading consultancy delivering a major hyperscale data centre project in Milan with the appointment of an experienced Project Manager. This is a permanent role, focused on the pre-construction and design phase of a multi-year programme.

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-profile client-facing team shaping the early strategy, cost, planning, and procurement of one of Europe’s most ambitious mission-critical programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the client’s representative across early-stage design, planning, scheduling, procurement, and stakeholder management
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including design consultants, contractors, and internal client stakeholders
• Drive pre-construction activities, feasibility assessments, budget controls, and risk management
• Monitor programme milestones and ensure project planning aligns with client goals
• Manage reporting, governance, and approvals in line with corporate procedures
• Support tender processes, bid analysis, and contract execution for future construction phases

Candidate Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in client-side consultancy or project management environments
• Background in delivering major real estate, technology, or infrastructure projects
• Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills – confident dealing with clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Understanding of pre-construction, cost planning, and procurement
• Degree-qualified in construction, engineering, or related field
• Fluent in English (Italian a bonus)
