Construction Manager

Our client is a leading international contractor delivering complex, large-scale data centre projects across Europe, providing full turnkey solutions from design through to construction and commissioning. With a strong reputation for technical excellence and high-quality project delivery, the company has become a trusted name within the mission-critical sector.
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced CSA Construction Manager to oversee CSA delivery on a major data centre development in Zurich.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing all Civil, Structural, and Architectural construction activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The CSA Construction Manager will play a key role in driving programme delivery, coordinating subcontractors, and managing interfaces across multiple work packages throughout all phases of construction.
Working closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives, the successful candidate will ensure all CSA works are executed in line with design intent, programme requirements, quality standards, and health & safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage all CSA construction activities across the full project lifecycle
• Coordinate civil, structural, and architectural subcontractors to ensure efficient site delivery
• Oversee daily site operations, sequencing, and construction planning activities
• Monitor construction progress against programme milestones and implement recovery actions where required
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with design specifications, drawings, and project standards
• Manage quality inspections, technical reviews, and compliance checks across all CSA packages
• Coordinate interfaces between CSA works and MEP installations throughout the construction programme
• Drive high standards of health & safety across all site activities and subcontractor operations
• Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues in collaboration with engineering and design teams
• Lead site meetings, progress reviews, and subcontractor coordination meetings
• Support logistics planning, site management, and construction sequencing activities
• Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery
• Assist with commissioning, snagging, testing, and handover activities where required
• Ensure all project documentation, reporting, and site records are maintained accurately

Key Requirements
• Proven experience as a CSA Construction Manager, CSA Manager, or Construction Manager on large-scale construction projects
• Previous experience delivering data centre, mission-critical, industrial, or large commercial projects is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of civil, structural, and architectural construction methodologies and sequencing
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams
• Excellent knowledge of construction health & safety regulations and quality assurance procedures
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage fast-paced projects and coordinate complex construction activities
• Experience working within live or mission-critical environments is advantageous
• Degree-qualified or equivalent in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
