Electrical Project Manager – Steel Plant – Lulea

We are currently partnering with a multinational Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation services provider with offices across Europe. Due to continued growth in their industrial arm, they are now seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team in Lulea, Sweden.

Responsibilities

•    Project Leadership & Coordination:
Lead the delivery of electrical systems from design through to commissioning, ensuring alignment with client objectives, plant performance standards, and industrial safety requirements.
•    Technical Oversight & Design Review:
Oversee and review detailed electrical designs including HV/LV distribution, control systems, and instrumentation, ensuring integration with mechanical and structural disciplines.
•    Stakeholder & Contractor Management:
Liaise with EPC contractors, equipment vendors, and client teams to manage project milestones, technical compliance, and issue resolution throughout the construction and commissioning phases.
•    Programme & Budget Monitoring:
Track progress against project schedules and budgets, identifying potential delays or cost overruns, and implementing mitigation strategies to maintain delivery targets.
•    Health, Safety & Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all electrical works adhere to site-specific HSE requirements, national standards (e.g. BS7671), and steel industry regulations, promoting a culture of safety and quality.

Requirements

Must have degree level electrical engineering qualification or similar
Must have 6+ years’ experience in a similar role on Industrial projects
Must have EU Passport or Right to Work in Sweden

Benefits

€100,000 - €110,000 + Full Rotational Package
