Project Manager – Data Centre – Rome

We are currently partnering with a globally recognised construction consultancy with a proven track record in a variety of industries. They have a healthy pipeline of works for years to come and due to continued growth are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Italy on a Data Centre construction project.

Responsibilities

•    Project Leadership & Delivery:
Manage the full project lifecycle of a large-scale data centre from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
•    Stakeholder Management:
Act as the key point of contact for the client, consultants, contractors, and local authorities, maintaining clear communication and alignment across all parties throughout the project.
•    Multidisciplinary Coordination:
Oversee coordination between architectural, civil, MEP, and IT infrastructure teams, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with Tier III/IV data centre design and operational standards.
•    Programme & Risk Management:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, risk registers, and mitigation plans, proactively identifying issues and driving solutions to maintain project momentum.
•    Regulatory & Quality Compliance:
Ensure all project activities comply with relevant EU and Italian regulations, local building codes, and international data centre standards, while upholding rigorous quality assurance protocols.

Requirements

Must hold relevant degree level qualification
Must have 4+ years’ experience in a similar position on Data Centre construction projects
Must be Italian speaking
