£90,000 – £100,000 + Package | Permanent | London HQ

A market-leading MEP contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join the site team on a high-profile £83m commercial project in Central London.

This is a key leadership role responsible for supervising the successful delivery of electrical systems to programme, safety, and quality standards — driving subcontractor performance and coordinating day-to-day operations on-site.

If you’re an electrically trained construction professional looking to step into a senior site-based role on a major project — this is an opportunity not to miss.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager in day-to-day site leadership
  • Supervise site teams and subcontractors, ensuring work is delivered safely and to spec
  • Enforce quality standards, lead toolbox talks, and promote safe systems of work
  • Manage labour and resource planning, including tracking subcontractor hours
  • Oversee subcontractor progress, identify risks, and escalate performance issues
  • Review materials on delivery to ensure specification compliance
  • Close out snag lists and assist with QA, handover, and project finalisation
  • Ensure variations or changes to scope are escalated and approved
  • Lead by example, maintaining site discipline, reporting, and team development

What You’ll Bring:

  • Electrical trade or degree qualification
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Electrical Construction Manager or similar supervisory role
  • Proven track record on major commercial or mixed-use developments
  • Strong knowledge of the full MEP build process from installation to handover
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and direct labour teams
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical layouts, drawings, and specifications
  • Confident communicator, both on-site and with senior management

What’s on Offer:

  • £90,000 – £100,000 salary + package
  • Permanent position with a respected tier-one MEP contractor
  • Long-term career path, internal promotion routes, and project pipeline security
  • Strong focus on mental health and wellbeing (EAP, wellbeing calendar, mental health first aiders)
  • Training and development support with active progression planning
  • Inclusive and supportive team culture, driven by performance and integrity
