Electrical Construction Manager – Data Centre – Sines, Portugal

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join our team. This position will be based on-site in Sines, Portugal.

Responsibilities

•   Lead Site Delivery of Electrical Works
Take full ownership of electrical package delivery on a large scale data centre, driving programme, sequencing, and coordination of all site activities from install through to energisation.
•   Manage Specialist Contractors & Performance
Oversee multiple electrical subcontractors, holding them accountable to safety, quality, and productivity targets while maintaining strong site relationships and clear communication.
•   Drive Quality & Compliance Standards
Ensure all works meet stringent data centre standards, commissioning requirements, and European regulations, championing a “right first time” culture across the project.
•   Interface with Multidisciplinary Teams
Work closely with CSA, mechanical, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration of systems, resolving clashes and keeping the programme moving at pace.
•   Support Commissioning & Handover Strategy
Play a key role in the commissioning phase, coordinating inspections, documentation, and system readiness to deliver a clean, efficient handover to the client.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background
Must have 7+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Portugal
