Location: Suffolk, Suffolk Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits

Project Quantity Surveyor - Nuclear – Suffolk

We are currently partnering with a multidisciplinary contractor with presence across the UK and proven success in a variety of sectors including Rail, Utilities, Energy, Roads, Energy etc. Due to continued growth in their Industrial arm, they are actively seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Suffolk to aid the Commercial Team.

Responsibilities

    Cost Management & Forecasting:
Accurately manage and forecast project costs across all disciplines (Civils, M&E, Structural, etc.), ensuring alignment with client budgets and contractual obligations in a highly regulated nuclear environment.
•    Subcontract Management:
Procure, negotiate, and administer subcontracts, including drafting of contract documents, agreement of variations, and regular assessment of subcontractor applications and valuations.
•    Change Control & Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and manage variations, claims, and potential risks proactively, ensuring robust change control procedures are followed in line with NEC3/NEC4 contract standards.
•    Reporting & Commercial Assurance:
Prepare and present accurate cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts to internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring all commercial reporting meets the project’s compliance, audit, and governance requirements.
•    Compliance & Stakeholder Liaison:
Ensure all commercial activities comply with Sizewell C’s nuclear safety and regulatory frameworks, while maintaining strong working relationships with clients, designers, engineers, and the wider delivery team.

Requirements

Mut have Quantity Surveying or similar degree level qualifications
Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on Nuclear projects or similar large scale construction projects
Must have UK Passport or Right to work in the UK

Benefits

£60,000 - £70,000 + Package
