Site Manager – Retail fit-out – South West Our client is a Main Contractor with a proven track record of nationwide coverage of various projects. Specialising in MEP install, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team in the South West on a Retail fit-out project. Responsibilities Site Supervision & Coordination: Requirements Must have 5+ years’ previous experience in a similar role on Retail or similar construction projects Benefits £250 - £270 per day
Take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, coordinating trades and subcontractors to deliver a high-quality retail fit-out on time and within scope.
Programme Management:
Drive progress on-site in line with the construction programme, proactively identifying and resolving any delays or sequencing issues.
Health & Safety Management:
Ensure strict adherence to site health & safety standards, including delivering inductions, managing risk assessments, and maintaining daily site records.
Quality Assurance:
Maintain a sharp focus on finishes and detail, inspecting all works to ensure they meet client expectations and contractual specifications.
Client & Main Contractor Liaison:
Act as the key on-site representative for the subcontractor, maintaining clear communication with the main contractor and client teams to ensure smooth delivery.
Previous fit-out experience is required
Must have excellent communication skills (Written & Oral)
