Our client a leading €500m+ turnover contractor working in the UK, Ireland & Europe require a senior Health & SafetyAdvisor and Manager to join their team working on a datacentre project based in West London reporting to the H&S lead to monitor safety performance, and advise on compliance with the Client’s health, safety and welfare policies and the company safety management system. You will be a Health & Safety professional with at least 5 years spent working on construction sites preferably projects managing teams whilst working on industrial, pharmaceutical or datacentre projects. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular formal site audits and carrying out inspections as directed in the Safety Management system, communicating findings of the audits to site management and assisting in the closure of issues whilst ensuring the delivery of health and safety inductions for all new employees or contractors. You will also be responsible to ensure that sub-contractor safety documents are produced and available on site, relevant and in accordance with best practice and current legislation in addition to advising the Site/Project Management team in drafting and communicating method statements for high-risk activities and support site management in ensuring the records of statutory inspections are kept for all activities and plant equipment. You will also manage the Toolbox Schedule for the project including attendance records and create and communicate site emergency plans in conjunction with the site managers team
The position is offered as an immediate start, about 5+ years work on site and package can involve full relocation with sole housing, bills and own car or 17/4 rotation.
