Mechanical Construction Manager – Data Centre Project – Sweden
€120,000 - €130,000 + Package | Accommodation + Rotation + Travel

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to join a major data centre project in Sweden.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all mechanical construction activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all Mechanical construction activities across the project lifecycle

• Lead day-to-day mechanical site operations in coordination with the wider project team

• Manage mechanical subcontractors, ensuring progress, productivity, and quality targets are achieved

• Coordinate project schedules with planners, project managers, consultants, and design teams

• Review drawings, specifications, technical submissions, and construction information

• Drive QA/QC processes and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards

• Chair and attend engineering, planning, coordination, and progress meetings

• Promote and maintain the highest standards of health & safety on site

• Monitor project progress, programme milestones, variations, and commercial impacts

• Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and project stakeholders

• Manage mechanical snagging, commissioning preparation, and project close-out activities

• Identify and resolve technical, design, and coordination issues throughout project delivery

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline

• 8+ years' experience within mechanical construction and site management roles

• Proven experience managing HVAC, piping, utilities, and mechanical building services installations

• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, coordination, programme delivery, and commissioning

• Experience managing subcontractors on large-scale construction projects

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

• Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Semiconductor, or Mission Critical project experience preferred
