MEP Lead – Data Centre Project – Sweden
€120,000 - €130,000 + Package | Accommodation + Rotation + Travel

We are currently looking for an experienced MEP Lead to join a major data centre project in Sweden.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery while managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing activities across the project lifecycle

• Oversee day-to-day MEP site operations and coordinate activities with the wider project team

• Manage MEP subcontractors, ensuring progress, productivity, and quality targets are achieved

• Coordinate project schedules with planners, project managers, consultants, and design teams

• Review technical submittals, drawings, and construction information

• Drive QA/QC processes and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards

• Chair coordination, planning, engineering, and progress meetings

• Promote and maintain the highest standards of health & safety across all MEP activities

• Track project progress, variations, commercial impacts, and programme milestones

• Prepare regular reports for senior management and stakeholders

• Manage commissioning preparation, snagging activities, and project close-out

• Identify and resolve technical, design, and coordination challenges

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline

• 8+ years' experience delivering large-scale MEP construction projects

• Strong background managing Mechanical and Electrical systems on complex projects

• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors

• Excellent understanding of MEP coordination, installation, sequencing, and commissioning

• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

• Data Centre, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, or Mission Critical project experience preferred
