Mechanical Engineer – Data Centre Project – Sweden
€75,000 - €90,000 + Package | Accommodation + Rotation + Travel

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join a major data centre project in Sweden.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of mechanical systems throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with construction teams, subcontractors, and project management to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the coordination and delivery of mechanical works across the project lifecycle

• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical submittals

• Assist with the implementation of QA/QC processes and quality inspections

• Coordinate daily site activities with subcontractors and the wider project team

• Monitor site progress and provide updates on programme status

• Maintain project documentation, technical records, and safety documentation

• Attend engineering, planning, and coordination meetings

• Liaise with design teams and manage RFIs where required

• Carry out installation inspections and verification of mechanical systems

• Support variation tracking and commercial reporting activities

• Assist in resolving technical, design, and coordination issues

• Manage and close out mechanical snagging activities

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline

• 3+ years' experience within mechanical construction or building services projects

• Experience working with HVAC, piping, utilities, and mechanical building services systems

• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and site operations

• Good communication and organisational skills

• Ability to work within multidisciplinary project teams

• Strong technical understanding of mechanical installation methodologies

• Data Centre, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, or Mission Critical project experience preferred
