£70,000 + Competitive Package

Our company is currently seeking for an experienced and dynamic Site Manager to be working in Central London for a leading contractor of Structural Refurbishments specialising in Cut & Carve projects committed to excellence, innovation and sustainability that delivers top notch services. As Site Manager you will be responsible for managing the site operations, coordination of workers and ensuring that the structural works are completed, safely, effectively and of highest quality standard.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Manage the day to day site operations, including site safety management, logistics & subcontractor coordination.

  • Look after the development, productivity and quality to ensure that the project goals are achieved according to project schedule & specifications.

  • Oversee the quality control measures & inspection procedures to ensure that structural works meets or exceeds the industry standards.

  • Carry out regular site inspections & audits to identify issues and come up with reliable solutions.

  • Team up with project stakeholders to develop detailed plans & schedules for structural elements.

  • Enforce strict adherence to health & safety regulations, policies and procedures on site and promote culture of safety.

  • Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks and training to ensure that all workers are aware and compliant with H&S requirements.

  • Degree in Structural Engineering/Construction Management or related field.

  • 7-10 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Refurbishment background is beneficial.

  • Rail related background ( Retail/Platforms etc) would be advantageous.

  • Updated knowledge in health & safety at work.

  • Strong knowledge of structural systems, materials & construction methods.

  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in site management softwares & tools.
