Our client, a leading contractor operating across Europe, committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions, is urgently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor. Working closely with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and clients, a Senior Quantity Surveyor will be managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of Data Centre projects including cost management, contract administration, risk assessment, and budgetary control whilst maintaining the highest quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:    

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial plans for the Data Centre projects performing cost analysis and value engineering to optimise project costs without compromising on quality.   

  • Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and management of contracts and subcontract with clients, contractors, and suppliers ensuring that all contractual obligations are met, and manage any variations or changes to the contract, including pricing adjustments. 

  • Prepare and evaluate tender documents, including contract conditions, bills of quantities, and subcontractor packages. 

  • Identify, assess, and manage financial and contractual risks associated with projects and ensure that all issues are addressed without delay. 

  • Prepare regular financial reports, including cash flow forecasts, estimates, and budget variance analyses and provide accurate and timely financial data to project managers and stakeholders to support informed decision-making.  

  • Manage the procurement process for subcontractors, materials, and services, assess suppliers, negotiate terms, conditions, and ensure that all procurements are cost-effective and delivered on time.  

  • Ensure that all financial and contractual activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, implementing and maintaining quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of cost estimates and financial reports.  

  • Collaborate with your counterparts on the client's and subcontractor's teams to ensure that all commercial, contractual, and financial processes are properly formalised and handled diligently, following the partnership approach established by CTS-Nordics with its clients and suppliers. 

  • Lead and mentor a team of quantity surveyors, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and continuous professional development. 

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field. 

  • 5+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying within construction, preferably in Data Centre & main contractor projects.   

  • Prominent level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of quantity surveying and reporting.  

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts.  

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex financial data and make informed decisions.  

  • Proficiency in Quantity Surveying software and tools.  

  • Excellent negotiation, problem solving and communication skills.
