Data Centre Construction – Sweden
Our client is a leading international engineering and construction main contractor delivering large-scale data centre projects across Northern and Central Europe. Operating on a full turnkey basis, the company oversees projects from early design and groundworks through to structural build, M&E installation, commissioning, and final handover. With a strong pipeline of hyperscale developments and consistent growth, they are recognised for delivering complex, mission-critical facilities to the highest standards.
Due to continued expansion, they are now seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a major data centre project in Sweden, with a specific focus on CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) packages.
Working as part of a wider commercial team, you will support the management of CSA packages across the project lifecycle, assisting in cost control, procurement, and subcontractor management. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a large-scale, technically complex project within a fast-paced data centre environment.
• Assist in the commercial management of CSA packages from procurement through to final account
• Support the preparation of cost plans, budgets, and forecasts
• Manage subcontractor procurement, including tender analysis and package awards
• Review, value, and process subcontractor applications and payments
• Assist in the management of variations, change control, and contractual documentation
• Monitor project costs and provide regular reporting to senior commercial staff
• Support the preparation of monthly valuations and commercial reports
• Maintain accurate records of costs, contracts, and site progress
• Liaise with site teams, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective delivery
• Identify potential commercial risks and support mitigation strategies
• 2–5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within construction or data centre projects
• Experience working on CSA / civils / structural packages is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
• Good analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced project environment
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Competitive salary (€55k – €70k, depending on experience)
