Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced CSA Engineer to join the delivery team on a large-scale data centre project in Sweden.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) elements of the works, ensuring that quality, safety, and programme requirements are consistently achieved. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to work closely with subcontractors, the quality team, and design engineers to drive project success.
The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, quality teams, and design engineers to ensure all CSA works are executed in line with design intent, programme requirements, and health & safety regulations.
• Inspect and check works carried out on site, ensuring quality control is maintained throughout
• Work closely with the Quality team to ensure finished works meet required standards and approved benchmarks
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure all documentation is submitted correctly and in a timely manner
• Liaise with subcontractors to track progress against programme and conduct regular coordination meetings
• Manage and maintain accurate site documentation
• Attend and actively participate in site meetings, project reviews, engineering reviews, planning, coordination, and handover meetings
• Review drawings with the design team and proactively resolve technical issues
• Monitor and snag subcontractor works, ensuring installations align with approved drawings and specifications
• Raise and track snag lists using approved systems, ensuring timely close-out in line with project requirements
• Support the delivery of high-quality works with a focus on achieving zero defects
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all CSA activities
• Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (or related discipline)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience, ideally within large-scale construction or data centre projects
• Strong knowledge of CSA construction methodologies, QA/QC processes, and Health & Safety regulations
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage works in line with project programmes
• Ability to read, interpret, and review technical drawings and specifications
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in IT systems, including construction management platforms for documentation and snagging
