Planner – Data Centre & Pharmaceutical Projects

Our client is a well-established international main contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across Europe. With a strong reputation for technical excellence, the company operates across a diverse portfolio including data centres, pharmaceutical facilities, commercial, and infrastructure developments.
Due to continued project growth, our client is seeking an experienced Planner to join their Dublin head office team, supporting the delivery of both data centre and pharmaceutical projects. This role will focus primarily on tender and pre-construction planning, although there will be opportunities to support construction phase planning as projects progress.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are accurately programmed, risks are identified early, and delivery plans are aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes for tender submissions and pre-construction planning
• Support the preparation of project schedules, timelines, and milestone plans for data centre and pharmaceutical projects
• Work closely with project managers, commercial teams, and design teams to ensure planning inputs are accurate and realistic
• Analyse project constraints, critical paths, and sequencing requirements, providing proactive solutions to potential programme risks
• Support construction phase planning as required, including progress monitoring, updates, and reporting
• Prepare programme reports, charts, and presentations for clients, management, and tender submissions
• Maintain and manage planning documentation, logs, and records in line with company standards
• Ensure alignment with client requirements, project methodologies, and corporate procedures
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate design, procurement, and construction activities into the programme

Requirements
• Proven experience as a Planner on large-scale construction projects, ideally in data centres or pharmaceutical facilities
• Strong knowledge of tender and pre-construction planning processes
• Experience with construction phase planning is desirable but not essential
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 (essential)
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a head office planning team while supporting multiple projects
• Experience in preparing client reports and programme documentation
• Knowledge of critical path analysis, risk identification, and schedule management
