Electrical Engineer –Data Centre Construction – Düsseldorf, Germany

Our client is a leading international engineering & construction main contractor specialising in the delivery of large-scale data centre developments across Europe. Delivering projects on a full turnkey basis, the company is involved from early design and enabling works through to M&E installation, commissioning, and final handover. With a strong pipeline of hyperscale projects and continued growth, they have built a reputation for delivering complex, mission-critical facilities to the highest standards.
Due to ongoing expansion, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the team on a major data centre project in Düsseldorf.
The Electrical Engineer will play a key role in supporting the delivery of electrical systems across the project, ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with design specifications. Working alongside the MEP team, specialist subcontractors, and commissioning engineers, you will assist in coordinating electrical works from installation through to testing and final handover.

Key Responsibilities
• Support the coordination of all electrical installation activities on site
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
• Work closely with subcontractors to ensure delivery in line with project programme
• Monitor site works to ensure quality and safety standards are consistently achieved
• Assist in preparing and reviewing method statements and risk assessments
• Support testing, commissioning, and energisation activities
• Track progress and provide updates to project and engineering teams
• Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and testing
• Identify and assist in resolving technical issues on site
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and commissioning teams for integrated delivery
• Promote a strong culture of health & safety across the project

Requirements
• Experience as an Electrical Engineer within construction, ideally on data centre or mission-critical projects
• Strong understanding of electrical installations, systems, and commissioning processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Experience working in fast-paced project environments
• Relevant engineering qualification (degree or equivalent)
