Data Centre Construction – Frankfurt, Germany
Our client is a leading international engineering & construction main contractor specialising in the delivery of large-scale data centre projects across Europe. Operating on a full turnkey basis, the company delivers projects from initial design and civil works through to M&E installation, commissioning, and final handover. With a strong pipeline of hyperscale developments and consistent growth, they are widely recognised for delivering complex, mission-critical facilities to the highest standards.
As part of ongoing expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the team on a major data centre development in Frankfurt—one of Europe’s key data centre hubs.
The Electrical Engineer will support the delivery of critical electrical systems across the project, ensuring all installations are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with design and specification requirements. Working alongside the wider MEP team, specialist subcontractors, and commissioning engineers, you will be involved in coordinating works from installation through to testing and handover.
This role offers exposure to a high-value, technically complex project within a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
• Assist in the coordination and delivery of electrical installation works on site
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical submissions
• Work closely with subcontractors to ensure works are delivered to programme
• Monitor installations to ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met
• Support the preparation and review of method statements and risk assessments
• Assist during testing, commissioning, and energisation phases
• Track progress and report to senior project and engineering teams
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, inspections, and test results
• Identify and help resolve technical issues related to electrical systems
• Liaise with mechanical, civil, and commissioning teams for coordinated delivery
• Promote a strong health & safety culture across all site activities
• Previous experience as an Electrical Engineer within construction or data centre projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and commissioning
• Experience in mission-critical environments is highly desirable
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Relevant engineering qualification (degree or equivalent)
• Competitive salary (€65k – €80k, depending on experience)
