Mechanical Technical Services Manager (TSM) – Contract

£350 – £450 per day

A specialist contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technical Services Manager (TSM) to support delivery on a high-profile conservation and refurbishment project in Central London.
 

This role will involve overseeing mechanical services coordination within a complex historic building environment, ensuring installation works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required heritage and technical standards.
 

Candidates must have strong commercial construction experience, particularly within fit-out, refurbishment, and conservation works on historic or listed buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical services coordination across the project
• Review mechanical design information and technical documentation
• Coordinate subcontractors and installation teams
• Ensure compliance with project quality and safety requirements
• Work closely with site teams and project managers
• Manage RFIs, technical queries, and installation sequencing
• Support commissioning and handover of mechanical systems
• Ensure works respect heritage and conservation constraints

Requirements

• Proven experience as Mechanical TSM / Technical Services Manager
• Experience working on commercial fit-out or refurbishment projects
• Experience on conservation or historic building projects preferred
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services installation
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors and site teams
• Security clearance beneficial
