Senior Electrical Project Manager – Steel Plant Project (Sweden)

We are working with a leading engineering contractor delivering a major industrial steel plant project in Luleå, Sweden, and they are looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Project Manager to join the team on a long-term programme (3-year minimum project).
 

This is a senior site leadership role responsible for managing the delivery of large-scale electrical packages across a major industrial project, from installation through commissioning and handover. You will lead subcontractors, manage programme delivery, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standards.
 

Experience on major industrial or heavy process projects is essential, and Kentz background is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead delivery of all electrical works across a major steel plant package
• Manage subcontractors, supervisors and electrical site teams through all project phases
• Drive programme performance, sequencing and short-term planning activities
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning and handover of electrical systems
• Coordinate with mechanical, civils, controls and commissioning teams across interfaces
• Manage progress, productivity, cost control and resource planning
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC, HSE and project specifications
• Review drawings, resolve technical issues and manage design changes
• Lead site meetings, reporting and stakeholder coordination
• Support commissioning readiness and energisation planning

About You
• Degree or trade background in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Strong experience delivering electrical packages on major industrial projects
• Steel, process plant, power or heavy industrial experience preferred
• Kentz background highly desirable
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management experience
• Knowledge of HV/LV systems, commissioning and industrial power distribution
• Able to commit to a long-term project in Sweden (3-year minimum)
