Our client is a well-established international main contractor delivering large-scale construction projects across Europe. With a strong reputation for technical excellence, the company operates across a diverse portfolio including data centres, commercial developments, and mission-critical facilities.
Due to continued expansion within the data centre sector, our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join the team on a major data centre project in Finland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with project management, subcontractors, and client representatives, the Site Manager will play a key role in driving programme delivery and maintaining site standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities for the data centre project
• Supervise and direct site teams and subcontractors delivering structural, civil, MEP, and fit-out packages
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project programme, drawings, and specifications
• Monitor site progress, quality, and compliance with health & safety requirements
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all site activities
• Coordinate with project management, design teams, and subcontractors to resolve technical and programme-related issues
• Manage daily site operations, including planning, resource allocation, and work sequencing
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Maintain accurate site documentation, reports, and progress updates
• Ensure project handover meets client expectations and quality standards

Requirements
• Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale or mission-critical construction projects
• Strong knowledge of data centre construction or high-precision commercial projects
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary site teams and subcontractors
• Excellent understanding of health & safety regulations and quality control
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Willingness to relocate to Finland for the project duration
