Senior Mechanical Estimator - Central London

Currently hiring for a Senior Mechanical Estimator role based in the London office, we are a leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation contractor involved in various commercial projects across Ireland, Europe, and the UK. Our diverse portfolio includes projects in Pharmaceutical, Power, Waste to Energy, Commercial, Data Centre, and Petrochemical sectors.

Joining our dedicated and ambitious team, you will thrive in a supportive culture where your ideas and contributions are valued. As a Mechanical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing tenders, ensuring fast and accurate estimates, and contributing to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and collate tenders, sourcing pre-project information by specified deadlines.
  • Provide fast, accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates from inquiry stage to bid submission.
  • Follow up on submitted tenders.
  • Analyze sub-contractor/vendor quotations, checking inclusions and exclusions.
  • Interact with clients at post-tender meetings and conduct presentations.
  • Provide support and assistance to the Estimating team.
  • Attend tender and follow-up meetings as required.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical trade background preferred.
  • Building Services, Mechanical, or QS qualification would be beneficial.

Experience:

  • 5-10 years' experience within an M&E contractor.
