Project Director – Data Centre – Frankfurt

We are currently partnered with a large MEP Subcontractor with presence across the UK and Europe. They have recently acquired a €50m MEP Package of works on a Data Centre construction project in Frankfurt. Due to this they are now actively seeking an experienced Project Director to join the team.

Responsibilities

•    Project Leadership & Strategic Oversight:
Take full ownership of the €50M MEP package, providing strategic leadership across planning, procurement, engineering, and delivery to ensure successful execution in alignment with client expectations, safety, quality, and programme requirements.
•    Stakeholder Management & Client Interface:
Serve as the primary point of contact for the main contractor, client representatives, and consultants, ensuring robust communication, proactive issue resolution, and the development of long-term, trust-based relationships.
•    Commercial & Contractual Control:
Work closely with commercial teams to manage budgets, track variations, monitor cash flow, and ensure full compliance with contract terms, aiming to deliver the project on time and within budget while maximising profitability.
•    Resource & Team Management:
Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary MEP project teams, including project managers, engineers, planners, and supervisors, ensuring optimal resource allocation, staff development, and high-performance team culture on-site.
•    Programme & Risk Management:
Oversee project planning and sequencing, identifying risks early and implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted progress and adherence to critical deadlines for this fast-track data centre environment.

Requirements

Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on Data Centres or similar large scale construction projects 
Must come from an MEP background
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Germany

Benefits

€120,000 - €150,000 + Full Rotational Package
