Mechanical Project Manager - Piping - Cork
As a Mechanical Project Manager, your role will be integral to the advancement and successful completion of projects, encompassing organization, scheduling, and implementation. Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts, you will contribute to the delivery of cutting-edge projects. This is a full-time position available at the project site in Cork.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering Mechanical projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Experience in managing combined Mechanical Piping projects is highly advantageous.
- Possess commercial and contractual competency with a solid understanding of project Profit and Loss (P&L).
- Proven ability to manage an existing core cross-functional team and foster team development.
Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in mechanical roles, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
- Essential qualification from a relevant third-level institution (Mechanical/Building Services Engineering or similar).
- Strong IT skills are essential, with a proficient understanding of programs.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and organizational skills are crucial.
- Possess excellent technical knowledge of mechanical systems and products.
- Understanding of project planning, construction sequencing, and critical path analysis.
