Junior Estimator – Dublin – High-Rise Residential
Locally based candidates only

We are partnering with a Tier 1 contractor delivering high-profile residential developments across Dublin. They are seeking a Junior Estimator to play a key role in the successful delivery of a high-rise residential project.

Responsibilities

•   Subcontractor Pricing Review & Benchmarking
Lead the detailed analysis, comparison, and levelling of subcontractor tenders across multiple work packages, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with project scope.
•   Procurement & Package Management
Manage the end-to-end procurement of subcontract packages, including preparation of tender documentation, evaluation of returns, scope clarification, and recommendation of preferred bidders.
•   Cost Planning & Estimating Support
Contribute to the development of detailed cost plans and tender submissions, ensuring all packages are accurately captured and reflect current market conditions.
•   Commercial Risk & Opportunity Analysis
Identify key commercial risks, exclusions, and opportunities within subcontractor pricing, supporting robust and competitive bid strategies.
•   Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with internal pre-construction, design, and delivery teams, and support client-facing activities where required, including cost reporting and tender presentations.

Requirements

Background in Quantity Surveying or Estimating within a main contractor or large subcontractor environment, ideally on residential or mixed-use projects.
Relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades’ background
Must be based within a commutable distance of Dublin
