Mechanical Construction Manager – Data Centre - Zurich
€80,000 - €90,000 per annum + Full Rotational Package – Permanent Role

Our client is a €2bn turnover, Tier:1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects.

Due to continued growth in the region of their Data Centre projects division, our client is now seeking experienced Mechanical Construction Manager in Zurich.

Responsibilities

•   Mechanical Project Delivery
Lead the delivery of all mechanical packages including HVAC, chilled water, and pipework systems, ensuring alignment with programme milestones and technical specifications.
•   Subcontractor Management
Oversee and coordinate mechanical subcontractors on-site, driving productivity while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
•   Commissioning & Handover
Manage and support the commissioning process, working closely with QA/QC and commissioning teams to ensure systems are tested, validated, and ready for client handover.
•   Programme & Risk Management
Track progress against the construction programme, proactively identifying risks, delays, and implementing mitigation strategies to maintain key deadlines.
•   Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with design teams, consultants, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration across all project phases.

Requirements

Must have 8+ years experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have degree level qualifications or equivalent trades’ background
EU Passport or RTW in Switzerland is required
