CSA Manager – Structural Works

Our client is a leading international contractor delivering complex, large-scale data centre projects across Europe, offering full turnkey solutions from design through to construction and commissioning. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced CSA Manager to oversee the structural works package on a major data centre development in Amsterdam.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing all structural and associated CSA construction activities on site, with a particular focus on structural steel frame installation, coordination, sequencing, and programme delivery. The CSA Manager will play a key role in driving the structural package through all phases of construction, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and client representatives, the successful candidate will ensure all structural works are executed in line with design intent, programme requirements, and health & safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the full structural works package across the project lifecycle
• Oversee structural steel frame installation and associated civil and architectural interface works
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and lifting operations to ensure safe and efficient delivery of structural activities
• Monitor construction progress against programme milestones and implement recovery actions where required
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with design specifications, drawings, and project standards
• Manage quality inspections, technical reviews, and compliance checks across all structural works
• Coordinate interfaces between steelwork, concrete, cladding, and wider CSA packages
• Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues in collaboration with engineering and design teams
• Drive high standards of health & safety across all site activities
• Attend and lead site meetings, progress reviews, and subcontractor coordination meetings
• Support construction planning, logistics coordination, and sequencing activities
• Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery
• Assist with commissioning, snagging, and handover activities where required

Key Requirements
• Proven experience as a CSA Manager, Structural Manager, or Construction Manager on large-scale construction projects
• Strong experience managing structural steel frame packages is essential
• Previous experience within data centre, industrial, commercial, or mission-critical projects is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of structural construction methodologies, sequencing, and temporary works
• Experience coordinating steelwork subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams
• Excellent knowledge of construction health & safety regulations and quality control procedures
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage complex structural packages within fast-paced project environments
• Degree-qualified or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
