Senior Quantity Surveyor - Data Centre - Helsinki

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. 
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Helsinki, Finland.

Responsibilities

•    Commercial Leadership & Cost Control
•    Lead all commercial aspects of a large-scale data centre project, ensuring robust cost control, accurate forecasting, and financial reporting across the full project lifecycle. 
•    Procurement & Supply Chain Management
•    Manage procurement processes end-to-end, including tendering, subcontractor negotiation, and package award, ensuring alignment with programme and commercial strategy. 
•    Subcontractor Commercial Management
•    Administer and manage subcontractor accounts, including valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts, maintaining strong commercial governance and risk mitigation. 
•    Project Collaboration & Value Engineering
•    Collaborate closely with project delivery teams (construction, engineering, and planning) to drive value engineering, cost efficiencies, and programme optimisation. 
•    Stakeholder Reporting & Risk Management
•    Provide strategic commercial insight to senior stakeholders, ensuring timely reporting, risk identification, and adherence to Tier 1 contractor standards and best practices. 

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background
Must have 6+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
EU Passport is preferred but not essential
