Commissioning Manager - Data Centre - Amsterdam Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Develop and manage the end-to-end commissioning strategy for MEP systems, aligning with project milestones and sequencing requirements typical of a fast-track data centre environment. Drive the commissioning programme to ensure systems are delivered, tested, and handed over in line with client expectations.
• Systemisation & Turnover Management
Lead the systemisation process, defining system boundaries and managing the progressive turnover of systems from construction through to commissioning. Ensure all systems are fully complete, inspected, and ready for energisation in line with agreed protocols.
• MEP Coordination & Interface Management
Work closely with mechanical and electrical construction teams to coordinate installation readiness, manage trade interfaces, and resolve clashes or technical issues that could impact commissioning activities or programme.
• Testing, Validation & QA Integration
Oversee all testing and commissioning activities including FATs, SATs, pre-functional and functional testing, ensuring full compliance with specifications, client requirements, and quality standards. Collaborate closely with QA/QC teams to ensure a “right first time” approach.
• Client Engagement & Reporting
Act as the key point of contact for commissioning with client and consultant teams, leading progress meetings, reporting on commissioning status, risks, and key deliverables while ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (Including Data Centres or similar Mission-Critical Projects)
Successful candidate must come from an MEP background
