Mechanical Site Supervisor - Limerick - Ireland

As a Site Supervisor, you will assume a crucial role in our project development and execution processes, reporting directly to the Projects Manager on all facets of daily site operations. Working closely with the Planning Manager and Project Manager, alongside a diverse team of engineers and industry professionals, you will contribute to the delivery of innovative projects. The current requirement entails on-site presence at one of our client locations in Cork.

Your duties will encompass:

  • Ensuring strict adherence to company HSQE (Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment) requirements and standards in all site operations.
  • Daily supervision, management, and reporting on direct labor resources, equipment, safe work execution, and material allocations.
  • Coordination and management of subcontractors on-site.
  • Conducting post-construction surveys and compiling precise data for As-Built records.
  • Enforcing company compliance and administrative procedures, while documenting the performance and progress of site operations and subcontractors.
  • Reviewing work packages to confirm the availability of all necessary information and permits for the safe and efficient execution of tasks.

This position offers exposure to various industries, including pharmaceuticals, life sciences, and construction. The successful candidate will receive support in enhancing their knowledge and skills as their role expands and evolves.

Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a site leadership role within the Commercial/Pharmaceutical/Life Science sectors, with a strong focus on Safety and Quality.
  • Completion of at least Level 6 of the QQI Certificate in Mechanical Craft Practice or its equivalent.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in technical knowledge with practical application.
  • High level of computer literacy.
