Mechanical Project Engineer - Limerick, Ireland
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will assume a crucial role in our project development and implementation endeavors. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting technical assessments, generating reports, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the attainment of project milestones. Working closely with a diverse team of engineers and industry professionals, you will contribute to the successful delivery of innovative projects. This is a full-time position based at our project site in Limerick.
Responsibilities:
- Provide project progress, risk, and issue reports to the Project Manager.
- Collaborate with suppliers/specialist contractors to ensure successful equipment commissioning.
- Demonstrate proficiency in developing and reviewing mechanical designs with the project team.
- Conduct design reviews and validate equipment and systems.
- Prepare technical submittals, equipment registers, and trackers.
- Conduct on-site quality reviews, inspecting systems to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Skills and Requirements:
- Essential Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Degree.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in building services is preferred.
- Strong IT skills are required.
- Experience with Revit software is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
- Outstanding communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Ability to function effectively within a large, multi-disciplinary team.
