We are in search of a highly proficient and motivated Mechanical Project Engineer to join our esteemed engineering team, boasting over 130 years of excellence in delivering top-tier, client-centric projects. As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be instrumental in the successful execution and delivery of a wide range of mechanical engineering projects. Your expertise and commitment will be pivotal in advancing our company's growth and solidifying our reputation as a global leader in engineering contracting.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and stakeholders to grasp project requirements and objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client needs and company standards.
  • Coordinate with diverse teams, including Electrical Engineering, Sprinkler, and Fire Protection, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation utilizing industry-standard software and Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the design phase.
  • Identify and procure suitable materials, equipment, and components necessary for project implementation.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and technical submittals, managing procurement processes for timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
  • Supervise the construction and installation of mechanical equipment, providing technical guidance to on-site teams.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Address any technical challenges or issues promptly, implementing effective solutions during the construction phase.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and project close-out documents.
  • Generate comprehensive technical reports for clients and management, highlighting key accomplishments, challenges, and recommendations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven track record as a Mechanical Engineer in the engineering services industry, demonstrating successful project delivery.
  • Proficient in mechanical engineering principles, design tools, and software.
  • Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) and other relevant engineering technologies.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of pertinent codes, regulations, and safety standards in mechanical engineering.
