We are assisting an established and rapidly growing engineering services contractor in their search for a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to be working in the company's projects in Hillerod, Denmark. The company is focused in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Sprinkler and Fire Protection division and also offers additional top notch services that includes Waste to Energy (BioEnergy), Specialist Lift, Off Site Fabrication, Technical Support Services, Maintenance, Asset Management, BIM (Building Information Modelling) and Geo-Surveying.  As a Mechanical Engineer you ideally have a strong background in mechanical engineering, proficiency in CAD software and have the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Collaborating with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.

  • Developing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Electrical Engineering teams, Sprinkler, and Fire Protection, to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Prepare red-line technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using industry-standard software and Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools.

  • Oversee the construction and installation phases of mechanical equipment with the construction team and provide technical guidance to on-site teams.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.

  • Address any technical challenges or issues that may arise during the construction phase and implement reliable solutions.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and project close-out documents.

  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports for clients and management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role.

  • Remarkable understanding of HVAC and Piping Systems.

  • Proficiency in mechanical engineering softwares and tools such as BIM & Navisworks.

  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
