M&E Senior Contracts Manager - Germany
As a Senior Contracts Manager/Programme Manager, you will assume a critical role in the oversight of a substantial Mechanical/Electrical project valued at over 100 million euros, ideally within the contracting sector of the German semiconductor industry. Working closely alongside the Operations Director, you will be tasked with coordinating site operations to ensure the successful achievement of key project milestones and overall project completion.
Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Operations Director and Division Director.
- Assume responsibility for all financial and managerial aspects of the project.
- Oversee the project team, ensuring effective labor control and coordination.
- Manage project schedules, quality assurance/commissioning, and health and safety standards.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects as required.
- Collaborate with clients and key project stakeholders when necessary.
- Engage directly with the relevant Director to expand business opportunities through contract tendering and negotiation.
- Review tender submissions, prepare valuations, and provide comprehensive reporting on the same.
- Foster and cultivate relationships with clients to sustain and enhance business partnerships.
Skills and Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Hold a degree or possess an exceptionally strong background in trades.
- Have a minimum of 15 years of experience within the semiconductor industry.
- Proficient in both German and English, with fluency or business proficiency in both languages.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead and mentor a cross-functional team effectively.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Exhibit excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Possess strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Display exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of productive working relationships.
