M&E Quantity Surveyor, Yorkshire, immediate start, Hybrid work, contract

Location: Yorkshire and the humber Salary: to c £360 per day

I am currently recruiting for a M&E Quantity Surveyor to work on a new project with a national multi-million-pound turnover contractor working on commercial, industrial, framework projects on an ongoing hybrid temporary assignment basis. You will have a minimum of 3 Years’ experience in Quantity Surveying within newbuild fast track projects.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparation of project CCS, cash flow, computing variations, preparing reports,  analysing tender and project requirements, billings and costs etc.
  • Ensure timely submission of claims/notices in accordance with provisions of contract, attending monthly commercial and subcontractor meetings
  • Drafting pre- and post-contract correspondence and Monitoring site procurement on receipt of regular reports.
  • Identifying material purchases are scope or variation to the budget,
  • Ensure controlling of client invoicing and tracking of payments etc
  • Resolving disputes in relation to client / subcontractor issues.
