Location: London Salary: c£60k+bens

Our client a leading engineering services and construction business, operating within the commercial, residential, industrial  and data centre project sector involved in the development of buildings and facilities require a M&E planner to work on projects in Central London, largely  working from home. You will be suitably qualified with at least 2 years MEP planning experience and knowledge of planning software like ASTA, Powerproject, Primavera etc.

 

Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain project controls and accurate reporting across all sites as well as doing  installation and commissioning programmes. 

Visiting sites on a weekly or bi-monthly basis (as per client requirement) and marking up progress, producing a drop line, speaking with sub-contractors & the client to discuss progress and delays and what can be done going forward to limit delays or pull back time already lost.

 Developing, maintaining, and reporting against KPI’s so we can track the progress of all trades as well as track costs also working closely with the Quantity Surveyor’s  basing their valuations on their progress droplines and rescheduling programmes taking any delays etc into account.

Tendering for new projects and producing pre-construction programmes.

 Establishing a good relationship with all the project teams to enable all to work together in forecasting potential risks to the project and getting a mitigation plan in place early:
