Mechanical QA Manager – Data Centre – Frankfurt We are currently partnered with a large MEP Subcontractor with presence across the UK and Europe. They have recently acquired a €50m MEP Package of works on a Data Centre construction project in Frankfurt. Due to this they are now actively seeking an experienced Mechanical QA Manager to join the team. Lead and manage the mechanical quality assurance process across the full scope of works, including HVAC, CHW/LTHW pipework, public health, fuel, fire protection, and mechanical plant systems, ensuring all installations meet project specifications and regulatory standards.
QA Documentation & ITP Development:
Develop and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, QA checklists, and test procedures aligned with the project’s mechanical systems. Ensure that all activities are tracked, recorded, and documented in compliance with client and contract requirements.
Site Inspections & Quality Control:
Conduct regular on-site inspections, quality audits, and system walkdowns to ensure works are being carried out in line with approved drawings, specifications, and best practices. Proactively identify and resolve quality issues with the site team.
System Testing, Commissioning Support & Handover Readiness:
Oversee mechanical system testing procedures (e.g. pressure tests, functional tests, balancing), ensuring QA processes are followed through commissioning phases. Support the collation and review of turnover/handover documentation for client acceptance.
Interface with Project Team & Client QA:
Collaborate closely with construction managers, supervisors, BIM teams, and the client’s QA/QC representatives. Provide regular quality reporting, lead punch list coordination, and ensure that all QA deliverables are met in accordance with programme requirements.
Must have 6+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Germany
