M&E Project Planner

Location: Ireland Salary: €90K/Year

 M&E Project Planner- Cork/Dublin

€90k/year (gross) + transport + rotation                                                                   

Our client a top tier MEP contractor with projects in Ireland, Europe and the UK require a M&E project planner suitably qualified with 4+ years of experience to produce project plans from design and commercial information, coordinate the development of multiple project plans with strong proficiency in Microsoft Project / P6 or Equivalent Planning Software, Microsoft Office tools, and excellent report writing skills.

Responsibilities:

· Deliver high-quality service to the project manager.

· Manage, mentor, and guide Planners/Juniors as required.

· Review Contract documentation and identify key schedule and tracking requirements.

· Develop the Construction schedule based on the high-level target schedule and WBS received from the Project manager.

· Assist in client schedule negotiations.

· Load the schedule with labor and metrics based on hours and quantities provided by the Commercial Team.

· Create necessary Trackers and Reporting templates.

· Develop fully integrated construction schedules in collaboration with the Main Contractor and Project Manager.

· Measure and track weekly progress and efficiency in consultation with the Site Team, formally validating this with the Commercial Team every 2 / 3 weeks.

· Proactively highlight potential risks and roadblocks to the project team and lead planner on an ongoing basis.

· Support the implementation of the Planning Process and adhere to Kirby Way standards.

· Review Contract documentation to ensure compliance with Schedule and Reporting Requirements.

· Facilitate Planning Meeting(s) when necessary.

· Validate the High-Level Target Schedule received from the PM, considering current emerging IFC project information.

· Optimize build schedule and develop a "Pinch Point Register" to identify discrepancies with Main Contractors / CMT schedule.

· Conduct a high-level labor load of the Target Schedule and produce an S-Curve.

· Submit the Schedule and S-Curve (along with subsequent schedules) for review and approval by the Lead Planner.

· Develop a negotiation strategy to address main contractor schedule risks and strive for favorable outcomes for KGE.
