Location: Netherlands Salary: €85.000 - €95.000 + package

M&E Planner - Data Centre - Netherlands

Responsibilities :

  • Leading the planning team in developing detailed EPC construction schedules to establish a baseline agreement with the client.
  • Conducting thorough schedule health checks prior to baseline approval, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and validation of critical paths.
  • Proficiency in fully resourcing loaded schedules, generating and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensuring the construction schedule is accurately and promptly updated.
  • Monitoring planned versus actual Earned Value (EV) progress.
  • Collaborating with team members to establish a system for capturing and logging issues through appropriate change control mechanisms.
  • Attending site meetings as necessary, both internal and client-based.
  • Tracking original versus actual budgets for scope growth or changes.
  • Monitoring and updating an in-house database project control system.
  • Overseeing fabrication workshop production and site installation progress.
  • Tracking productivity of craft labor through Spent versus Earned hours.
  • Ensuring planning-related deliverables for weekly/monthly construction reports are completed punctually.
  • Producing weekly, monthly, and periodic reports for internal and external purposes.
  • Providing support to the Project Management Team (PMT) in developing and executing project programs.
  • Managing and assisting planning team members in project execution.

Skills and Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary-level qualification.
  • Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably including M&E contracting experience.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 software with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Ability to analyze and challenge Main Contractor/General Contractor programs effectively.
  • Capability to oversee multiple projects and availability for regular project visits.
  • Knowledge of forensic planning and delay claim analysis.
