€35,000-45,000 DOE + Car Allowance + Package

Our client is a top engineering services contractor involved in a number of complex technical projects across Europe primarily involved in life sciences, pharmaceutical and data centre schemes. The organisation is focused in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Sprinkler and Fire Protection as its core division. 

Due to its continued expansion our client is looking to hire a dedicated Junior Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join the team in delivering exceptional projects in Cork Region. 

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to the Construction Team and the Senior Quantity Surveyor on all the Quality Surveying functions.

  • Tracking Costs and Hours of all Labour Hire Subcontractors.

  • Tracking Costs and Hours of all Subcontracted Prelim Staff.

  • Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor with the preparation of Commercial Reports.

  • Maintain all Commercial Registers.

  • Manage subcontractor accounts from initial award to interim valuation, variations and final account.

  • Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor with monthly progress applications.

  • Perform all other duties associated with this role.

Key Skills/ Requirements will include:
 

  • Relevant third level qualifications are an advantage but not essential.

  • Previous experience in a similar role.

  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team.

  • Excellent IT Skills.

  • Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
