Our client is an established engineering & construction main contractor undertaking technology, pharmaceutical and data centre projects across Ireland and throughout Europe. This growing main contractor offers a full ‘turnkey’ construction service delivering schemes from groundworks stage, CSA works, through M&E installation, fit out, commissioning to client handover

The need now exists for experienced Electrical Project Engineer reporting to the Project team, to manage a datacentre project based in Poland.

You will be suitably qualified with at least 4 years’ experience managing projects from the post tender, pre-construction stage to handover and delivery. Previous experience of working on Datacentre, pharmaceutical or industrial projects gained in Europe is required. Responsibilities will include effective day to day running of site activities, ensuring the delivery of the project within the given constraints of time and cost, attending meetings with client, progress meetings with sub-contractors whilst managing and coordinating installation of the project.

You will be responsible for managing trades and subcontractors and ensuring compliance for installation in accordance with the projects specification and contract documentation, with all relevant technical aspects within industry standards and local authorities requirements where applicable in addition to the ensuring compliance with health, safety and welfare obligations. You will also be responsible for creating scope of works, assessing lift plans, approving rams, and communicating with all other works. You will get involved with overseeing the testing and commissioning in accordance with the Quality Plan and projects specific requirements.
