We are in search of a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to take on the role of Design Manager at our rapidly expanding company in the Nordics region. As a Design Manager with us, you will oversee the design aspects of large-scale Data Center projects, ensuring seamless coordination among multi-disciplined teams. Your responsibilities include ensuring timely project delivery within budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Motivate and encourage both internal and external design teams.
• Ensure timely production of high-quality drawings and designs that are easy to interpret.
• Oversee the design process utilizing technical expertise.
• Collaborate with clients to meet their expectations.
• Review designs with a focus on health and safety considerations.
• Minimize errors and financial risks during construction.
• Recruit and manage design specialists for project involvement.
• Engage in project discussions with clients, managing expectations and negotiating project features.
• Uphold legislation, codes, and standards during the design phase.
• Verify the accuracy of all designs with clear and specific labeling and design information.
• Maintain necessary documentation, foster relationships with construction teams, and create a log of challenging items during construction.

Working Environment: The role involves splitting time between the office and construction sites, with working hours varying based on the location (office or site).

Reporting Structure: Your title will be Design Manager. On a project, you report to the Project Director, and when working on multiple projects in the Copenhagen office, you report to the General Manager.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate possesses over 5 years of experience and holds an educational background in engineering, architecture, or a related field. An experienced Design Manager, the candidate understands the importance of interpersonal skills alongside technical expertise. Proficiency in both English and Danish is essential.
